pricing

Pay for requests.
Not servers.

Billing follows tracked requests, not machine count — extra dynos, autoscaling pools, or Sidekiq workers never add a per-host line item. Your allowance is pooled across every Rails app on your account, spread evenly across the month, and capped at your plan. You will never get a surprise bill.

🌍

// data_hosting

The DeadBro platform runs on dedicated servers in Europe — not on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Your APM telemetry is stored and processed in the EU, which keeps a clean story for teams that want to avoid US data transfers and hyperscaler lock-in.

// daily_smoothing

Your plan's requests are spread evenly across the month so a Monday traffic spike never eats your whole allowance. Every day we recalculate what's left and redistribute it across the remaining days — and if you hit the cap, tracking simply pauses until tomorrow. No overage fees, no surprise invoices, ever.

faq

Common questions

DeadBro runs on dedicated infrastructure in Europe — we do not host the product on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Your traces, errors, and metrics stay on EU-based bare-metal servers under our control, which is ideal if you want to minimise US jurisdiction and hyperscaler dependency. For subprocessors (e.g. email), see our GDPR page and privacy policy.
A request is anything the gem captures from your Rails app — any controller action and any job execution. Web requests, API calls, webhooks, ActiveJob / Sidekiq / Delayed::Job runs, and scheduled tasks all count the same way. You can see a real-time breakdown by request type in your dashboard at any time.
DeadBro spreads your monthly allowance evenly across the month, so a noisy Monday won't consume your whole budget. Each day we recalculate the remaining requests and re-spread them across the days left in the cycle. If you hit the daily cap, tracking pauses for the rest of the day and resumes automatically tomorrow with a fresh share — you are never charged extra. Consistently bumping into the cap? Upgrade to a bigger plan whenever you're ready; for predictable high-volume traffic, Enterprise covers it under one contract.
Yes. Monthly plans cancel at any time with no penalties and no questions asked. Annual plans can be cancelled too, but are non-refundable after the first 30 days. When you cancel, your account drops back to the Free tier and you keep monitoring at the Free limits.
Switch to annual billing and pay for 10 months, get 12 — an effective 20% discount. Your billing date shifts to once per year. You can upgrade plan at any time and the unused portion is prorated.
There's no time-limited trial — instead, we run a Free tier you can stay on forever. Sign up with no credit card, plug the gem into your app, and see exactly how DeadBro behaves on your real traffic. Upgrade to Starter, Growth, or Pro whenever you outgrow Free's request allowance, retention, or feature set.
Free covers 1 app, Starter 3 apps, Growth 10 apps, and Pro & Enterprise are unlimited. Different environments of the same app count as one — production, staging, and sandbox of my_app together only use one of your app slots. Your request allowance is pooled across every app on your account — one dashboard, one bill — and Pro+ lets you switch between accounts without logging out.

Ship with confidence.
Pay for requests, not servers.

Start on the free tier — no credit card. Move to Starter, Growth, or Pro when your traffic outgrows it, with usage always visible on the dashboard.
